dry eco-wool in an attic can be laid with no equipment
by hand, blowing into cavities or dry spraying
a safe composition: cellulose, antiseptic, fire retardant
Fills 99.9% of hollows – no gaps, no cold bridges
Affordable: from 40 UAH per kilogram, and you pay nothing for labour if you pack it yourself
Simple, no special skills: dry eco-wool in an attic is packed by hand
Eco-wool comes in 10 kg bags: easy to carry up to the attic and pack yourself
Doesn’t settle – the layer on the roof keeps its thickness for years
Holds the heat: low heat conductivity
Absorbs up to 90 dB with a 150 mm layer – a quieter mansard and a quieter house too
Non-toxic composition: cellulose, antiseptic and fire retardant – safe for health
Protects against rodents, insects and fungus that love attics
Non-flammable. G2 (UKR) class – important under a roof
Eco-wool “breathes”: it doesn’t accumulate moisture in timber rafters or turn into an “ice” crust. No vapour barrier is needed.
Eco-wool is non-toxic and gives off no harmful vapours even in the heat under a roof, so it is safe to pack yourself. And a dense layer also slows the mansard’s summer heating.
Roofs and attics are what people order most: warm air rises, so a lot of heat usually leaves that way. People usually insulate the attic themselves: you buy the eco-wool in bags and pack the dry layer by hand. Our crew does the slopes and the mansard. Live in Odesa or Mykolaiv? The simplest case, and the one people most often do themselves: the eco-wool from the bags is tipped over the ceiling and levelled to a 20–25 cm layer. No equipment is needed, and the material is non-toxic, so no special skills are needed.
We insulate the slopes and side walls of a mansard by blowing eco-wool into the cavities between rafters. A film is used for this, and OSB is fitted over it. The layer comes out continuous and doesn’t settle.
The eco-wool lies between the rafters under the roofing. The roofing should be sound before we start: the insulation mustn’t get wet from leaks all the time.
• dry hand packing – you can do it yourself, no equipment
• you tip it out of the bags and level a 20–25 cm layer over the ceiling
• or blowing by our crew, if that suits you better
• blowing into the cavities between rafters – needs equipment, our crew does it
• a continuous layer with no gaps that doesn’t settle
• warmer in winter, not so hot in summer
• blowing into cavities
• the eco-wool lies between the rafters under the roofing
• the roofing must be sound and leak-free before we start
It is enough to send us photos of the attic or roof (by e-mail or messenger, contacts at the bottom of the page) and to measure the area as precisely as you can. From the photos and measurements we propose the method and layer thickness and agree the exact amount of eco-wool with you – the calculator above is only a guide. We come to inspect only when there is no other way.
For an attic it is enough to have the eco-wool: the dry kind is packed by hand, with no equipment or special preparation, and the material is non-toxic. Our crew does the slopes and the mansard.
