We don’t insulate shell-rock or brick walls that have no cavities, but we cover the attic and ceiling with a continuous 20–25 cm layer. It is the best investment for a house in Fontanka, Tairova, Kotovskoho, Chornomorka or Kryzhanivka.

Mansards in the suburbs and at dachas

Many people add a mansard above an old house or dacha. We insulate its slopes and side walls by blowing eco-wool between the rafters – a layer with no gaps or cold bridges that doesn’t settle, so it is warmer under the roof in winter and less stifling in summer.
